Yes, there is one-year warranty from the date of purchase.
This warranty is only applicable in the event that the unit is faulty and does not apply in a situation where the unit is damaged.

You should be ok if you have cellular reception.

No, as there is no internet coverage underground – so this is not possible.

PawTrails works in the UK and EU countries.

iOS:
  • 1. Go to "My Pets" in the main menu
  • 2. Select the pet you want to remove
  • 3. Click on the edit in the top eight hand corner
  • 4. And select "Remove Pet"
Android:
  • 1. Go to my pets
  • 2. Select pet you want to remove
  • 3. Go to button on the right-hand corner and press "Abandon"
iOS:
  • 1. Go to "my pets" to set a safe zone.
  • 2. Click on the pet you would like to set a safe zone for
  • 3. Click "Safe Zones"
  • 4. Click the plus button and set your safe zone, then click save and Name the safe zone
  • 5. To disable the safe zone, you click the slider
Android:
  • 1. To set a safe zone, Select "My Pets".
  • 2. Click the pet you want to set a safe Zone with
  • 3. Click "Safe Zones"
  • 4. Press the plus button, set your safe zone, then name the safe zone and click the tick.
  • 5. To disable the safe zone, you click the slider
iOS:

  • 3. Click on the edit in the top eight hand corner
  • 4. And select "Change Device ID"
Android:
  • 1. Go to my pets.

PawTrails App requires iOS 9.0 or later and Android Lollipop 5.0 or later.

You can see where your pet is in that moment on the map.

You can activate the safe zone feature on the PawTrails app, it acts as a perimeter e.g. your house. If your dog leaves this perimeter you get a notification on your phone to tell you, they have left the safe zone.

  • • If your device loses connection with cellular internet coverage, live tracking will be disabled.
  • • If the dog is in a still position the device will stop updating the GPS location, to conserve the battery.
  • • If your PawTrails device isn’t turned on.

Once the pet is moving constantly it sends the GPS location to the live tracking screen on your app every 10 seconds. If the dog is in a still position the device will stop updating the GPS location, to conserve the battery.

At the moment PawTrails does not offer this feature.

There will be maximum of 5 seconds delay.

  • Up to 6 hours in adventure mode

The light will remain still /constant.

The device will be flashing. If the battery from the device is completely flat, it may take a couple of minutes for the light to start flashing.

Please click the button on the device once (do not hold down on the button) if it’s on a light will appear. If it is off nothing will happen – to turn the device on press the button for at least 3 seconds and a light will start flashing. The light will then stop flashing after a couple of seconds (no light will be visible while the device is active).

Ensure the following:
  • 1. APP IS UPDATED
  • 2. DEVICE IS FULLY CHARGED (for 3.5 hours - light will remain still when fully charged)
  • 3. DEVICE IS TURNED ON (click the button on the device once (do not hold down on the button) if it's on a light will appear. If it is off nothing will happen - to turn on press the button for at least 3 seconds and a light will start flashing. The light will then stop flashing after a couple of seconds.
  • 4. KEEP DEVICE MOVING AND OUTDOORS (may take up to one hour)
  • 1. Start an adventure
  • 2. See the pet live location
  • 3. See the pet information (pet details, name of other shared users for this pet, activity graphs, safe zones, adventures, adventure goals, body condition score)
  • 4. Remove the pet from their list
  • 5. Share adventures
  • 1. Edit pet info
  • 2. Invite a friend or remove a friend
  • 3. Add or edit safe zone
  • 4. Disable safe zone notification
  • 5. Add or retest body condition score
  • 6. Edit adventure goals
  • 7. Delete adventures
